BS EN 597-2: 1995 - Furniture - Assessment of the ignitability of the mattresses and upholstered

bed bases Part 2: Ignition source: Match flame equivalent.

 

BS 6807: 2006 Clasue 9 Source 7 - Methods of test for the ignitability of mattresses, upholstered

divans and upholstered bed bases with flaming types of primary and secondary source of ignition.

 

HM Prison Service - Fire Test Specification 15 Home Office igloo test (FTS 15)

 

Schedule 1 Part 1 (BS 5852 Part 2 : 1982 Source 5) of the UK Furniture & Furnishing (Fire) (Safety)

Regulations 1988  (as amended). 

Conditioning: 

The sample and the ignition sources had been conditioned for 72 hours and maintained in this condition

prior to testing. Testing had been carried out in a room size of >20m3 having a temperature between

10 degrees C and 30 degrees C and a relative humdiity between 15% and 80%.

Overall Result BS EN 597-1: No Ignition
BS EN 597-2: No Ignition
BS 6807 (S7): No Ignition
FTS15: Limits Not Exceeded
